I was introduced to fishing at a really young age, about 3 years of age.
I had my little fishing rod and my little tackle box and off I went, usually to fish off the dock.
I was happy to catch anything but bass was my favorite fish to catch.
As a young fella, I was always eyeing my dad’s fishing lures and my grandfather’s fishing lures. Even though I was told emphatically that their tackle boxes were off limits, I always managed to grab hold of some of their lures followed by a verbal lashing. Boy oh boy was I in trouble.
When I think back I never saw either one of them catch fish on a regular basis but my school of thought was since they had been fishing longer they must have some of the best bass fishing lures. It made sense at the time.
One of the first lures I tested out was the old Red Devil fishing lure which is now called the Red and White Daredevil Spoon. I would cast it out there and land my fair share of bass, but that lure is actually designed for deep water trolling.
It just goes to show that it never hurts to experiment with different lures.
We carry all kinds of lures to help you land that big fish like Spinnerbait, Crankbait, fishing spoons, jigs, buzz bait, trolling lures, worm harnesses and more.Fishing Lures
